Installation

Mobile WebSTAC is a web application. You “install” it by loading it into a web browser on your mobile device and then saving as an icon to your home screen.

Here are the steps:

  1. Open the web browser in your mobile device.
  2. Enter the URL:
    1. Either the Public Landing Page: https://webstac.wustl.edu/m
    2. or WebSTAC Mobile Home Page: https://webstac.wustl.edu/m/ws If you use this option you will immediately be prompted with a WUSTL Key login.
  3. Use the Add to Home Screen option (iPhone) to create an icon link. For Android devices, Bookmark the page and save the bookmark to your home screen (http://philwilson.org/blog/2010/01/adding-a-bookmark-to-an-android-home-screen).

WebSTAC Mobile Home Page

  • Menu for accessing other features
  • At-a-glance balances for Paper Cut (PC), Meal Plan(MP), and Bear Bucks (BB)

Bear Bucks

  • Add points to your Bear Bucks account
  • Deactivate (or reactivate) your Campus Card

Note that this feature is only available to students with a Campus Card account. Faculty and Staff should manage their Bear Bucks account from the HRMS web site.

Class Schedule

Shows your schedule for the current or previous semesters. Click on a building to open a Google map of the WashU campus.

Grades

Shows your grades for the current or previous semesters.

Room Kiosk

Students living in the dorms can use this feature to get a temporary room card.

Current Housing Assignment

Shows you Washington University room assignment as well as your Campus Box info.

Access

Currently Mobile WebSTAC is deployed in a separate URL under the WebSTAC domain.
